Use of donations.
Donations received by Divya Prem Sewa Mission are applied to the charitable activities of the trust — including healthcare for leprosy patients, education and residential care for underprivileged children, food services, environmental work along the Ganga and related programmes. The Mission retains the right to allocate funds across these activities in accordance with its objects, governance and statutory obligations.
The Mission does not guarantee any specific outcome from a donation.
Tax exemption.
Divya Prem Sewa Mission holds registrations under section 12A and section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, and an FCRA registration (No. 347910004) for the receipt of foreign contributions.
Eligibility for tax deduction under section 80G is limited to donors who are taxable in India and is subject to the conditions of that section, including timely receipt of the donation and possession of a valid receipt issued by the Mission. Donors should consult their own tax advisor for advice specific to their circumstances. The Mission does not provide tax advice.
